Cricket All-Stars shine at Dodger Stadium

Los Angeles, CA - For cricket-lovers in Southern California (predominantly the South Asian community but more than a few others) Saturday night was a truly special treat. A group of select cricket legends from the past two decades played their third Twenty20 exhibition match on U.S soil at Dodger Stadium, playing high-level cricket on the historic baseball field for the first time ever.

Global cricket icons Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne will headline a star-studded lineup of renowned cricket players from around the world in the inaugural “Cricket All-Stars,” a three-game series in New York City, Houston and Los Angeles.  The historic tour marks the first time these legends have played in the U.S., and also renews the famous rivalry between “Master Blaster” Tendulkar and “King of Spin” Warne.

ICC World Cup Quarterfinal Recaps and Review

The semifinals of the ODI Cricket World Cup are now set. On Tuesday (local time) it will be New Zealand vs. South Africa in Auckland, New Zealand. On Thursday (local time) it will be Australia vs. India in Sydney, Australia.

This month's Athlete of the Month is the legendary Indian cricket player, Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar, the most revered cricket player of his generation, reached even new heights earlier this year when he became the first player in the 40-year history of One Day International (ODI) cricket to score 200 runs in a match. The previous record of 194 runs was shared by two other cricket players.
