Injury report for tonight's New York Jets-New England Patriots game

September 12, 2013

The story for tonight's Jets-Patriots clash is less about the players on the field and more about those who are unable to suit up.

For New England, running back Shane Vereen is out and wideout Danny Amendola is unlikely to play, leaving quarterback Tom Brady with limited weapons at his disposal.  Expect Brady to lean heavily on receiver Julian Edelman and running back Stevan Ridley tonight.

Meanwhile, the Jets are now in Game 2 of the Geno Smith era whether they like it or not because it appears that quarterback Mark Sanchez will be out for the season with a shoulder injury.
