Pac-12 football media picks USC to win Conference

July 31, 2015

USC was chosen as the favorite to win the 2015 Pac-12 Conference football title in a preseason poll vote of 45 media members. It was the first time since 2012 that the Trojans were picked to come out on top.

The fact that UCLA and Oregon lost their star quarterbacks to the NFL Draft undoubtedly factored into the poll results.

The media poll has correctly selected the Conference Champion in 29 of 54 previous polls, including 12 of the last 15.

Following are the results of the preseason media poll for the North Division and South Division respectively (points 6-5-4-3-2-1, first-place votes in parentheses):

NORTH DIVISION

1. Oregon (37)...............262

2. Stanford (8)............... 231
