FLORIDA DEFEATS KINGS, 3-2

Florida surrendered a 2-0 lead, but Aleksander Barkov (1-1—2) scored the go-ahead goal 15 seconds into the third period, as the Panthers improved to 4-0-0 on their five-game road trip.

The Panthers – who own a record of 7-1-0 in their last eight games – moved into third place in the Atlantic Division.

Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo (33 saves) appeared in the 963rd game of his NHL career to tie Ed Belfour for fourth on the all-time list among netminders.

WILD MOVE WITHIN A POINT OF LEAGUE-LEADING CAPITALS

Jason Zucker (2-1—3) factored on three of five goals as the Western Conference-leading Wild improved to 6-1-1 in their last eight games.

At 39-13-6 (84 points), the Wild moved within a point of the Capitals (39-11-7, 85 points) for the top record in the League.

Devan Dubnyk (37 saves) improved to 32-10-3 this season (1.97 GAA, .934 SV%, 5 SO) and reclaimed sole possession of the League lead in wins.
