Boxing stars will shine at 4th Annual Box Fan Expo

Las Vegas, Nevada -- Fans of the Sweet Science will once again be able to satisfy their boxing fix at this year's 4th Annual Box Fan Expo taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center this Saturday, September 15th. The event will be held during Mexican Independence Day weekend, no coincidence given that Saturday night across town the middleweight title bout pitting Mexican icon Saul "Canelo" Alvarez against reigning champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin will captivate fans in a rematch of their highly controversial draw from September 2017.

This year's event will allow attendees a truly one-of-a-kind experience, one that is literally found nowhere else, as there will be countless legends and luminaries of the fight game in attendance.

Among those already confirmed for this year's incredible event are: boxing's first five-division champion and living legend, the Motor City's own, Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns; former undisputed super middleweight and light heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist, the recently-retired Andre "SOG" Ward; current IBF 147-pound kingpin Errol Spence Jr.; undefeated lightweight champion Mikey Garcia; former 168-pound champion Badou Jack "The Ripper;" world champion at four different weight classes and Manny Pacquiao's longtime rival, the legendary Juan Manuel Marquez; former four-division champion, Tijuana's own, Erik "El Terrible" Morales; fellow Mexican icon and Hall of Famer, Marco Antonio Barrera; and former 154-pound champion and U.S. Olympian Fernando "El Feroz" Vargas.

In addition, an absolutely ridiculous amount of perennial fan favorites will also be present, including Maricela Cornejo, Mia St. John, Jesse Vargas, Abner Mares, and David and Jose Benavidez.  Moreover, prominent organizations governing the sport like the World Boxing Council and the World Boxing Association, as well as select big-name members of Floyd Mayweather's Money Team (in addition to Jack) will be in attendance.

In an interesting change from past events, this year's Box Fan Expo will feature several highly-ranked fighters from the USA Boxing amateur program who will take part at the Inaugural Box Fan Expo Invitational 2018, a boxing competition where those fighters will have a chance to face the best in their division.

The top two fighters of the 2018 Box Fan Expo Invitational will receive a $3,000 sponsorship from adidas Boxing in boxing equipment for a year. All participants will get to keep the boxing gloves and headgear they use to compete.

All this, under one roof, and only at the Las Vegas Box Fan Expo, this Saturday, September 15th. Where else would any self-respecting fight fan want to be ahead of Canelo-GGG II?
